Welcome to our 2023 Adult Learn to Sail Program!

How exciting that you are interested in learning how to sail! Our Adult Learn to Sail Program is avaliable to all Club Members, 18-years and older. Non-Members may participate; however, Members are given priority. This interactive program is intended to be a progression of learning. 


This year we are planning on offering a dingy and keel boat program. Please see below for program specific details.

Dingy Program Overview:
This program will use C420 boats and the instructors will be certified coaches from our Junior Activities Program. We will be offering two, 4 week sessions this summer. Please note that we are limiting registrations to 1 session per participant to start and if we have available spots you can then register for both sessions if you choose. 
There will be 2 adults per boat.

Program Dates:
Sessions will take place Monday nights from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. 
Session 1 - July 3rd, July 10th, July 17th and July 24th
Session 2 - July 31st, August 7th, August 14th, and August 21st

Location:
Classes meet on the Germain Lawn under the tent at 4:50pm.

Cost:  
Per Session: $150.00 Member | $180.00 Non-Member

Please Note:
Prices are in Canadian Funds, and taxes are extra.
In the event of inclement weather, a land lesson will be conducted the first time and the class will be canceled and refunded the second time. 
Full refunds are available up until 7 days prior to the start of the session after which no requests wil be accepted.
There are no refunds for missing classes. 

Physical Capabilities:
C420 boats are 14 foot long dinghies which are fast, fun, and sometimes capsize! The max weight for the 2 crew is 400 lbs.  If you are concerned about your physical ability to participate in this boat, please contact Erin Jordan for more information.
