420 Race Team - Buffalo Canoe Club

Welcome to 420 Race Team!

Our 420 racing program aims to bring a more focused and competitive BCC Race Team for those with a competitive edge who would like to elevate their 420 sailing skills. Our knowledgeable coaches and mentors will provide young sailors with learning opportunities, racing experiences, and an advanced summer sailing experience while attending a variety of regattas within Ontario. Please note, there may be times when JV and Varsity groups sail together, and all are encouraged to race on Wednesday Nights at BCC.

Week 2: June 29th -July 3rd
Week 3: July 6th - July 9th
Week 4: July 13th - July 17th
Week 5: July 20th - July 24th
Week 6: July 27th - July 31st
Week 7: August 3rd - August 7th
Week 8: August 10th -August 14th

Practice schedule:

Monday through Friday 9:00am-4:00pm, practice may vary based on the racing schedule and weather.
Our sailing Coach will send out a weekly schedule for practice, packing up, and travel.

Cost: $2870 member | $2,943 non-member for the summer, not including Regatta fees

Sailors: Advanced 420 sailors, with a focus on racing in the competitive C420 circuit

Skipper/Crew: Sailors should sign up with a set Skipper/Crew pair for the session. If needed we can help with connecting interested participants to finalize teams.
