Welcome to Kids Camp

All Junior Activities programs will operate in accordance with public health guidelines.

Buffalo Canoe Club Kids Camp programs offer a variety of fun summer activities for children ages four to eight. In Kids Camp, the emphasis is on outdoor play and fun. Each week of Kid's Camp has a different fun theme, you will receive an email prior to the camp start date explaining the theme week activities and any items campers might need to bring for that week. Campers are encouraged to explore and play together.  When inclement weather keeps us indoors, we have arts and crafts as well as indoor games to keep our campers busy.
In addition, the following special activities are offered weekly: Swimming, beach activities and water activities.

Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 4:00pm
Extended hours are available from 8:30am - 4:30pm, at an additional $35/wk per child

Weekly: $250.00 Member | $300.00 Non-Member
Half-day Morning, 9:00am-12:00pm, $150.00 Member | $175.00 Non-Member
Half-day Afternoon, 1:00pm-4:00pm, $150.00 Member | $175.00 Non-Member

Kid's Camp:  *4 yrs - 8 yrs

*(BCC Camp counsellors reserve the right to remove a child from camp if they are unable to adhere to minimum age requirements.)

Summer 2022, Day Camp, Friday Theme Days
Each week we encourage campers to get into the spirit of things, by participating in the following theme days:

Week 1: Kick off the Summer!
Summer break has arrived! Campers and Coaches will have kick off the start of summer break with an exciting week filled with water activities and interactive games. 

Week 2: Pirates of Lake Erie
Ahoy Matey's! It's pirate week! Time to get your "Arrrrr" on! Campers and Coaches will "set sail" metaphorically this week on a pirate adventure; from treasure hunting, pirate crafting, and interactive games. 

Week 3: Wild & Wacky
Prepare for a week filled with science experiments, tie dye, and water sports. This week Campers and Coaches will put on their "mad scientist" hats and prepare to be their wildest and wackiest selves. 

Week 4: Olympics
Who doesn't love a little friendly competition and of course medals?! This week Campers and Coaches will break into teams, create a flag, pick an anthem, participate in various games and activities to earn points throughout the week. 

Week 5: Safari
Attention all animal lovers! Campers and Coaches will put on their safari hats and sunscreen for an adventure this week; featuring a safari hunt, animal masks, and interactive games.

Week 6: Disney
Fairy dust and imagination are in the air this week! Campers and Coaches will part-take in Disney crafts and activities themed based on various movies. Friday, dress up as your favourite Disney character! Impressions of the Disney character you’re personifying are encouraged!

Week 7: Superhero
Okay, it’s time to get out your superhero suits out!  Friday, you can dress up as Captain America, Wonder Woman, SpiderMan, or any of your heroes, like your Mom!..or your favourite Camp Coach!Come on down! This week Campers and Coaches will embark on a 'crime fighting' mission, create comic books, and particiapte in superhero activities.

Week 8: Sports 
This day is for all of our sports fans! This week is all about sports! Campers and Coaches will participate in a variety of different sports; tennis, swimming, martial arts, frisbee, soccer, canoeing, dance, volleyball etc. 

Week 9: Under the Sea
'In need of vitamin C?' Campers and Coaches will embrace 'life under the sea' this week through sea creature crafts, whale slime, and water activities.
